WildScaper Educational Software

WildScaper is software for writing digital stories and painting environmental game scenes. Children, beginner to advanced, can create a scene with a bird character and write a digital story about it. It gives children a fun, digital platform to publish their ideas and stories about any environment they create. Children compile a digital story as a fun 3D fly through memory game as their own software title to share with family and friends. Beginner users can simply paint a scene and fly through it as an Australian native bird using the keyboard arrow keys to control their flight. Advanced users can write stories, create custom graphics, import MP3 audio files and compile their own multi-level software game titles for free distribution on Windows and MacOSX platforms.

WildScaper offers a rich array of fun learning outcome. Teachers can combine english, art, science and technology studies in each assignment. Teachers can write and save their own assignments or download and edit one of ours from this site. Assess student work in WildScaper quickly and easily and print results to A4. Developed for use on interactive whiteboards and secured school networks, WildScaper allows beginner and advanced users to publish multimedia stories and games in a seamless intergrated environment. Students create and paint a game scene with a main character and write titles and a narrative that can continue over multiple game levels.
